Born in 1982 in Sakarya, Volkan ÖZTÜRK graduated from Sakarya University mechanical engineering department in 2003. He completed his master's degree in Engineering Management from Sakarya University in 2010 – 2012.
After completing his military service, he started working as a company official in Çetin Lazer company in Sakarya in 2004. He worked as a production engineer at Aksan Makine from 2005 to 2006. Then, in 2006, he started working as a production engineer at Sakarya Tırsan trailer factory.
With the establishment of Lean Manufacturing Office in 2008, many tools belonging to lean manufacturing system (5S, Kaizen, suggestion, value flow map, line organizations, visual factory, on-site quality, Kanban, A3-problem solving technique, etc.) have been applied and cultured in the field. Lean performance was monitored with lean cockpit application. He founded the prize system.
From 2011 to 2013, he worked as a lean production manager at the Standard profile factory. In the process, 5s initiated Kaizen, SMED and value flow mapping work. It has provided productivity increases in the lines with time studies. It completely eliminated the loss of yield of 13% caused by raw materials and semi-finished products.
In 2014, he returned to the Tırsan trailer factory again, increasing the number of proposals by 110% and the number of Kaizen by 70%. He trained 50 lean line leaders through the leader development program.
At the end of 2016, he was the group leader of Engineering Department at Yazaki Kuzuluk plant. With Yamazumi's work, operator workloads were balanced.
At the end of 2017, GF started its mission with the establishment of lean production department at Hakan plastic pipe factory and provided the integration of 5s, Kaizen, value flow mapping, SMED and recommendation tools. He led the cost reduction efforts of £ 4 million per year with the improvements made.
After starting in the consulting sector in 2019, as of 2020, UnoPro started to serve under the roof of production and Consulting Services.
